Email safety
What is fishing?
Fishing is a fraudulent attempt usually made through email to steal your personal information.
Phishing emails usually appear to come from a well-known organization and ask for your personal information such as credit card number, Social Security number account number or password.
Usually the email will provide a link that looks legitimate but leads to a malicious website disguise it as an official site.
Keep in mind legitimate vendor vendors will never send an email to get your personal information.
